A quick entry for the spitfire Mother's Day contest at:
For my entry I decided to draw -of course- a lesser drawn character, and went with Tod and his adoptive mother, the Widow Tweed. She was a little difficult to draw at first, with her having sharp angles as well as soft ones, but then it clicked and it turned out alright.
Actually, the widow looks a lot like my late Grandma Evelyn.
At any rate, The Fox and the Hound
has aged very well, and I actually enjoy it much more as an adult. It's got one of the scariest Disney openings ever.
And now that I'm older I'm much more in tune with my womanly feelings and the movie makes me want to cry at some parts.
Oh. I totally forgot to draw Tod's collar. Oops. I guess we'll have to pretend this is before he got one. Hehe. Commission Info
