A quick entry for the spitfire Mother's Day contest at: :icondisney-club:

For my entry I decided to draw -of course- a lesser drawn character, and went with Tod and his adoptive mother, the Widow Tweed. She was a little difficult to draw at first, with her having sharp angles as well as soft ones, but then it clicked and it turned out alright. :heart:
Actually, the widow looks a lot like my late Grandma Evelyn. :o Spoooky.

At any rate, The Fox and the Hound has aged very well, and I actually enjoy it much more as an adult. It's got one of the scariest Disney openings ever. :fear:

And now that I'm older I'm much more in tune with my womanly feelings and the movie makes me want to cry at some parts. ^^;

Oh. I totally forgot to draw Tod's collar. Oops. I guess we'll have to pretend this is before he got one. Hehe.
