Pocahontas and the Princeby *Zimeta

My entry into the "Crossover" contest at:

For once I did some of the more popular characters intead of the ones people barely recognize.

So! Here's Pocahontas meeting Bambi. I figured it would be a decent crossover for a couple of reasons.

The two movies are some of Disney's more artsy ones. Whether or not you like them, they are gorgeously animated. Not to mention the backgrounds and color palletes.

They both live in the American wilderness! I know the book, Bambi, A Life in the Woods originally took place in Austria and he was a Roe Deer. But, in the movie Bambi is an American White-Tailed Deer.

Both Bambi and Pocahontas don't have mothers anymore (though that's not an uncommon thing for Disney), and both have troubles with strangers who enter their land.

And they're both royalty.

This is a pretty quick entry - just busts. But, Bambi and Pocahontas are pretty difficult to draw.

That's a good thing about entering these contests, though; you get to draw character who take you outta your comfort zone.

I just started listening to a bunch of Disney music last night. It's hard to believe some of these awesome classics are from the 50's. Anyways, this is beautiful and a very interesting, yet suitable, crossover.
