Instead of asking her to stay with him, he's basically telling her to think for herself. 
Since starting my comic and submitting my pages to groups and smackjeeves, I've learned a lot about the "anthro/furry" community, and there's a lot to dislike about it. :0
A great deal of it's just for fan-service or comes off as trite (pretty wolves running through forests, people with giant cat ears). It's no wonder there's so much taboo about drawing cartoon animals these days. <-:C
Despite the taboo, there are good things to it, too! Be sure to give a comic with animal characters a chance before you dismiss it. I'm sure there are hidden gems around the net that need some love.

Started reading this comic late last night...or was it past midnight. So this morning I guess. Ish. Still reading and still loving the story.
I truly enjoy how you've woven it so well and kept all the politics out of it, making it simply a story about William and Sonia.

I am however very sad of the view you have for furries. There are great artists and writers out there, sadly they're just known to the community so what "outsiders" see tends to be everything else. Which is non-artists paying artists to portray their personal character in both clean and not so clean art.
Though I guess I may be biased, considering I AM a furry and a doodler (I'd never dare call myself an artist >.<).
Can't wait to reach the end of the comic so I know what happens...and at the same time I don't want to finish reading >.<
