An entry for the contest over at :icondisney-club:

The theme of the contest is: Villains!

And, because I'm a freak who never wants to try for the win, I did slightly more obscure characters. (Why do I fear success?!)

These handsome fellows, Dr. Terminus and Hoagy are from Pete's Dragon (1977). My favorite song in the movie is "Every Little Piece", where they sing about choppin' up a dragon and selling its parts for lots and lots of money. Heehee. You can watch/hear it here: [link]

Unlike in my usual drawings, I gave the characters eye colors. Don't know why... I guess the way I drew them just called for it. ^^; The funny thing is; I couldn't remember what their real eye colors are when I started coloring it! For all I know Doc. Terminus' eyes are blue... :0

Anyway. Make sure you drop by #Disney-club if you want to enter the contest. It's going until July 15th, I believe.

Ya know, I've been thinking about it, and I think people probably like Disney Villains so much because they're evil and they're really happy about it. Haha. :lol:

Oh, I remember this song!! I haven't seen this movie in FOREVER. It used to be one of my favorites. You did an awesome job on these two guys. Thanks for the memory.
