A quick little entry into the "Design a princess challenge" contest.
The objective of the contest was to design a new heroine for an imaginary movie. This is Fraulein Liesel!
For my entry I decided to design a long-awaited plus-sized heroine. ^____^
For her cute little story: She lives in a town near the Mountain King who's been turning people into goblins and trolls and the like. The townsfolk have tried everything to get him to stop; sent diplomats, warriors, and a small army at some point... but they all got transformed and added to the Mountain King's horde. So, as a last ditch effort they send Liesel to talk to him in the hopes a nice young lady might touch his heart.
I was thinking about Frozen and how nice it was that there was a song where the heroine sings with the villain, and I thought-dang! We need a whole Disney movie like that!
Actually, she kinda looks like a character who'd be in a '50s live action Disney movie (like Darby O'Gill and the Little People or Babes in Toyland). Well, any medium's a-OK in my book.
Her look is based on 1800s German fashion except simplified for animation purposes. :3

I do like a few things about Liesel that make her stand apart from other heroines or princesses. And all of them are for good reasons.
