There we go! Finished a new reference sheet for Hieros Caelum. Just in case I decide to do art trades again sometime in the future.

I totally forgot to draw one without his helmet on, though. ^^; Oh well! Just know this: He has a mohawk.

It's a pretty big change from his last design, but still recognizable as him. I even kept the stripe on the back of his suit! Huhu.

His basic story: Hieros is an alien from another world. He travels about in space sometimes getting himself into pretty big trouble.
He's one of the last of his kind, and has been dodging getting picked up by The Committee for Species' Safety, and evil corporation that "protects" endangered species by taking them away and locking them up.

:bulletyellow: Personality: Outgoing, spiritual, fun-loving until threatened. Secretly a deep-thinker.
:bulletyellow: Age: Over 2000 years.
:bulletyellow: Species: Shiee-Gaoy
:bulletyellow: Interests: Pan pipes (expert player!), human culture
:bulletyellow: Likes: Chips (He loves them.), Superman, Harry Potter (I haven't read them, but he seems to think they're good)
:bulletyellow: Tweaks: He can fly really well, but usually crashes on his landings.
:bulletyellow: Abilities: Flight, Telekinesis
:bulletyellow: Weakness: Canines. (Dogs, wolves etc.) They hate him.

You know, I can see this design growing on me after a while. As with most things, it just takes some time. Though, you always allude to some important aspect of your story that demanded the change be made, but you've never revealed what that is. I'm curious to find out.

So, secretly a deep thinker... Well, I imagine being alive for 2000 years gives a guy a lot to think about. Oh, and he loves chips, Superman, and Harry Potter? I think we'd get along quite nicely. Has anybody else drawn Hieros with his new groove yet?

Well... it's mostly that the old design didn't make much sense for a living breathing person. For instance: How the heck would you lie down with shoulder blades going over your back like that? :0
But also other things. Small things that are probably only important to me. :XD:

Nobody's drawn him with his new groove yet, nope. I need to do some art trades again.

Does he have freckles now? Awesome! (I'm a sucker for freckles) Love how you tightened up his design a bit more. Great expressions.

he oes look quiet different but he still looks like himself (duuuuuh...) I see he has a nose now =)

Nice ^_^ I like the jump suit, but I miss his arm wire things.
