For the Disney's Children contest going on over at: #Disney-club.

Being me I wanted to draw someone more obscure so that I would have no chance of winning. :lol:

This is Francis from Swiss Family Robinson (1960) with his two Great Danes, Duke and Turk.
Twas an awesome movie. Especially as a kid. It's got an elephant, a tiger, pirates, romance, a tree-house, and even a giant turtle. Hehe.

Obsucre? I actually remembered they used to show this movie on the Disney Channel at least once a month, it was a cool movie with an elephant, a zebra, a tiger, pirates, and a tree house. I would think people wouldn't remember "The Moonspinners", since I first actually saw a dvd copy at Disneyland once and asked my mom what that movie was. I have only heard of the title and never seen or know anything of that movie.

Good job on these three characters though.

Compared to the fame of other Disney movies, I think it's at least slightly obscure. ;)

I love not only the original book but the movie. My all-time favorite story. Well that is till they did a part two on TV. That killed it. Great work on the art work! Francis almost looks like the kid from the Reluctant Dragon cartoon....sorta. Great homage pic

I loved the movie... the book, not so much.

Funny thing, I saw the thumbnail... didn't put too much into it until I read the title and- "Duke and Turk... FRANCIS DUKE AND TURK OMG!!!" ^__^
