Cameron Ranch and The Willows

My sister, *mistytang and I like to play a game every semester where we choose band names by reading the first road sign we see.

Her band name this semester was "Cameron Ranch", and mine was "The Willows". (Two up-and-coming neighborhood sites, I guess.)

And then we ended up combining our bands and coming up with a concept this time.
We thought it would be the coolest thing ever if a rock artist had muppets for back-up in his band.

So, I had to draw it!

Here's my sister as a boy with her back-up muppets rockin' it out.

She originally wanted Jack Cameron to be an emo metal band, but I thought the all-American look suited her and her group better. So, she ended up wearing red, white and blue. Fun stuff.

Their names are:

Jack Cameron - main singer
Boris Bug - Guitarist
Simon Swan - Drums
Francine Frog - Violinist and back-up singer


I guess Jack Cameron started out with really cheap muppets in his garage, but as he got more and more famous, the muppets got more and more costly and complex. At their highest point all the muppets were automated and took up to five people to control. Hehe. Talk about wild!

Their #1 best seller ever was "Bike Lane" in 1990.
